If exposed to high temperature for a long time, the bamboos are prone to excessive water loss, resulting in deformation and cracking. Potential ignition should also be avoided.
Do not wash & soak it in water
The solid bamboos contain some water, so they may contract at low temperatures and expand at high temperatures. In case of water loss or saturation for a long time, bamboo cracking and deformation will occur. Normally, clean it with a wet cloth, wipe it with a dry cloth, and then dry it in shade.
Avoid friction with hard objects
Although the bamboos are hard and dense, barely shrinking and easy to be split, friction with hard objects which may cause damage to the paint coat and the bamboo’s surface texture should be avoided.
